As you all know, chiropractic care makes you feel and function better. Whether you are in pain, or simply looking to maintain your wellness, chiropractic care helps your joints, muscles and nerves function optimally. Luckily, elite athletes also knoIs it just us or did summer go by quickly!? A reminder that we are open on the Friday before Thanksgiving (October 11) but closed the Monday after (October 14).
Dr. Leguard returned from her Tour de France well rested and with many new freckles… She and her boyfriend enjoyed an Olympic soccer game in Lyon, a few days in the hilltop villages of Provence, and the Cote d’Azur soaking up the sun. They walked 188,323 steps (about 143.5 kms!) over their ten days of travel, which offset the daily pain au chocolate, pizza and wine they enjoyed while away.
As previously mentioned, Myranda, Carleigh and Carleigh’s son Roger participated in the Foam Fest Fun Run at Dagmar Ski Hill on August 24th. The weather held up and they all enjoyed their day.
This month, we celebrate Karen’s THIRTY-SECOND office anniversary. Hard to believe that she has been putting up with Dr. Hubbel for that long! We are also celebrating Dr. Johnston’s 9 year office anniversary on September 1st, and Louise’s birthday on September 16th.
As September starts, we naturally think about the start of the school year. We hope all the students, and of course teachers, had a wonderful summer! Dr. Johnston’s daughters will both be attending school this year. Alexandria is going into Grade 1, while Isla will be starting JK. Carleigh’s son Roger starts Grade 2 this year, and Delores in SK. Chloe, Dr. L’s sister and Dr. H’s granddaughter will be entering her second year at Western Law as well.
We would like to note our new cancellation policy. We now almost always have a “waitlist” for patients who urgently need an adjustment each day. If you miss an appointment, or cancel with short notice, we are unable to give your spot to a patient in need. To reflect this, missed appointments AND appointments canceled within one hour of the scheduled time are subject to a $25 fee. You will get one “warning” before you are charged, We understand things happen throughout the day that may cause you to have to change an appointment, we ask that you do so as soon as possible. Our staff are always able to help you, so please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
