Chiropractic Conditions
Hubbel & Johnston ChiropracticChiropractic care can provide correction of underlying causes and relieve pain. At Hubbel & Johnston Chiropractic, we treat patients suffering from a wide range of physical conditions, helping them achieve a higher quality of life. A consultation will help determine what is causing your problem. A thorough examination will show if chiropractic care could be your answer. X-rays and other tests may be required and if yours is a chiropractic case, a plan of management will be presented to you. If yours is not a chiropractic case, we will refer you for appropriate care. The following are some conditions our patients have presented to our office with.
Headaches
Headaches can range from mild to severe, sometimes accompanied with other symptoms such as nausea and vision distortion. Depending on the type of headache you are experiencing, chiropractic treatment may help. Some different types of headaches include:
- Tension headache
- Cluster headache
- Migraine
- Post-traumatic headache
- Cervico-genic headache (headache from neck dysfunction)
Low Back Pain
Lower back pain is very common, affecting nearly five in 10 Canadians. Lower back pain can result from muscle strain, sedentary lifestyle, joint dysfunction, injuries, and more. Our examination will help identify the source of your lower back pain and help you decide on the best treatment for you to find relief.
Neck Pain
Neck pain can result from injury, muscle strain, arthritis, stress, and more. Our team will evaluate you and identify the cause of your neck pain. We will then suggest a treatment plan that that will be helpful. If yours is not a chiropractic case, we will refer you for proper care
Hip Pain
Joint abnormalities, arthritis, and traumatic injuries are some causes of hip pain. After testing to ensure yours is a chiropractic case, we can identify the cause of your problem and provide proper corrective care for many hip problems.
Knee Pain
Arthritis, traumatic injuries, strain, and wear and tear can result in pain and reduced mobility. Depending on the cause of your knee pain, chiropractic care may provide relief.
Foot Pain
Whether your foot pain is caused by an injury or disease, chiropractic may be able to help.
We can also provide custom orthotics after a computerized 3D scan to determine if orthotics are needed. Custom orthotics can also help improve your balance and regulate pain in the knees, hips, and back.
Frozen Shoulder or Rotator Cuff Injuries
Frozen shoulder is a condition that gradually worsens over time, causing stiffness, pain, and immobility. If you are suffering from any shoulder problem, chiropractic adjustments and exercise can usually help you manage your pain and provide some improvement in joint function.
Tennis/Golfer’s Elbow
Tennis elbow causes pain and inflammation of the tendons on the outer part of the elbow. Golfer’s elbow causes the same symptoms in the tendons and muscles near the inner elbow. Both conditions can arise from overuse and lead to tingling and weakness in the area. Chiropractic adjustments can improve mobility and reduce pressure around the surrounding muscles and joints.
